MP3: Peter Morén - Social Competence
This is the first single from Peter Morén’s debut solo album, The Last Tycoon, out on April 8 via Touch & Go. Peter Morén is the lead singer and guitarist of Swedish trio, Peter Bjorn & John, who I had the pleasure of seeing live just a few months ago. I haven’t heard much from Morén’s solo album, other than this first single, but everyone who’s heard the album is saying great things. “Social Competence” sounds quite a bit different than many of PB&J’s catchy indie-pop tunes, but I’m excited to hear this album just to see how well Morén fares as a solo artist.
