Stereogum.com released their tribute to Björk’s Post today and the album is now available for free download here. Their last two tribute albums, for Radiohead’s OK Computer and R.E.M.’s Automatic For The People, have totally affirmed Stereogum’s position in the upper echelon of music blogs. And while I’ve yet to listen Enjoyed in its entirety, the stellar lineup itself pretty much confirms that this will be another amazing tribute that we’ll talking about for months on down the road. Liars, No Age, Atlas Sound, El Guincho, and Evangelicals are just a few of the artists you’ll hear covering songs from Björk’s masterpiece Post. Luckily, they’ve also made it available through direct download or BitTorrent, so you can choose to download it whichever way you prefer. Follow the link below to download Enjoyed.
In other Björk news, the video for her most recent single “Wanderlust” was also released today and not unlike MGMT’s recent video for “Time To Pretend,” the visuals are quite breathtaking. YouTube just doesn’t do this video justice, so head over to Yahoo UK instead.
