V-v-v-violator. Smoke, the debut album from White Williams, is now available in the UK, courtesy of Domino.

On his new Virb page, Kid Cudi has a trailer for his new mixtape, titled a KID named CUDI. There’s no word on when this is coming out, but the video says “coming soon” and you know I’ll have more details whenever they become available. For now, check out this beautifully directed video with a short preview of a new Kid Cudi song towards the end. I’ve been talking about Kid Cudi on here ever since I started this blog, and I’m really excited for his debut album to come out. This guy has a real fresh, unique sound that I think a lot of people are going to enjoy.

Thanks to Critical Acclaim reader PJ Hardly for letting me know that We Started Nothing, the debut album from the Ting Tings, is now streaming on the MTV website. I’ve got a link to that below, but AOL is also streaming the new Death Cab album, so check that out too if you haven’t yet had the pleasure of hearing it. Narrow Stairs is out now, but We Started Nothing wont hit stores until next week.

After I heard a snippet of this song in that video of Kanye and Jonah Hill playing Checkers, I had really been looking forward to hearing the official version of this track. There’s a Jeezy remix too, but I can’t seem to find a dirty version and I recommend checking out the Kanye version first anyways. “Lollipop” is my favorite guilty pleasure of the year so far and I’m pretty sure it’s going to blow the speakers in my car before the summer is over. Oh yeah, The Carter 3 is in stores on June 10th.

On the “Everybody Nose” Remix, N.E.R.D. and Pusha T from the Clipse team up with Child Rebel Soldiers (CRS), the hip-hop supergroup featuring Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, and Pharrell. The result is something incredible, a track that will be on the party playlist well in to the summer and fall. With Kanye and Pharrell behind the boards, and Lupe and Pusha on the mic, this is pretty much the perfect formula for a great hip-hop track. The “Everybody Nose” Remix will likely be on the new N.E.R.D. album, Seeing Sounds, which hits stores on June 10th.

Here’s another track off of the Cool Kids’ Bake Sale EP, which is due out May 20th on Chocolate Industries/C.A.K.E Recordings. I’m really looking forward to this release, as I’m sure many of you all are, and I’m also looking forward to seeing the Cool Kids live at Lollapalooza later this summer.

Last time we heard from experimental New York rockers Ratatat, they were releasing that incredible remix of Björk’s “Wanderlust.” Now they’re announcing some details about their third LP, which is appropriately titled LP3. Ratatat also plans on releasing another full length soon after LP3, which is titled Classics. From what I understand, this track “Shiller” is the first single from LP3 and there is now a “Shiller” seven-inch available and the b-side is “Mahalo,” a track from Classics. LP3 is scheduled to be released on July 8 and there has not yet been a date announced for Classics.
